The guys in the class are just as into their music and beats as anyone else.’

Deaf Rave //The Midi Music Company

// Deaf Rave, in association with The Midi Music Company, is the first of its kind of music production courses aimed for people with hearing disability.

With the help of the funding from City Bridge Trust and Arts Council, ten-weeks course was designed for the unique needs of deaf community aspiring to learn more, create and produce their own music.

Through the course, participants were able to delve into the world of music production and further pursue their passion for music.

This was a groundbreaking initiative and a pioneering step towards inclusivity, empowering deaf talents to express themselves in the music industry, breaking down the stereotypes and barriers, as well as forging new paths and opening new opportunities for people with hearing disability.

‘When we are ready to get the album out, it’s gonna be a cultural shock for everyone.’

Troi / Course organizer

‘Music… without music, I don’t know what I would be doing.

It’s pretty much my life.’

Matthew / course student
